Hunting the ferocious beasts of Onderon has been a time-honored tradition for many generations of the planet's ruling families. Social calendars are filled with festivals dedicated to the hunt, and nobles often use stories recounting the size and challenge of their prey as symbols of rank and status. Although reality for many of Onderon's citizens means never venturing beyond the safety of city walls, the nobility erects lavish outposts to ensure access to their favored pastime.
The royal hunting lodge near Onderon's capital city was a gift from Queen Lina to her son, Petryph, on the eve of his first hunt after coming of age. The sprawling villa was once adorned with quarry hunted by the late queen herself, but over time, more and more of these trophies have been replaced. The winding hallways of the lodge are filled with non-native creatures "cut down during the king's many hunts across the galaxy," though only a few in Petryph's inner circle have ever known him to leave the planet.
As of late, the royal hunting lodge has become King Petryph's preferred residence, much to the dismay of those concerned with the ruler's apathetic approach toward his responsibilities.

"I convinced Luth to come with me. I showed him we could no longer follow Vizla. We are warriors, we should be taking our fight to Zakuul, not the worthless machines on Darvannis. Vizla may be Mandalore, but Zakuul left no other challengers. Maybe this is her way of thanking them.
I know there are others who feel the same, who will come with me too. There is a king who will let us hunt on his world. It is swarming with beasts the mightiest of us could only imagine. We can finally meet worthy prey again. The fool king wants tribute from our quarry, to slay offworld creatures and bring them to him from time to time. In return, he will leave us to hunt in peace. The di'kut doesn't understand that acquiring his "payment" will bring us the honor we crave.
When we leave, Vizla will say we are not Mando'ade, and those sheb'urcyin who have forgotten what that word means will agree with her. But if what she has made us is "Mando'ade," then I want no part of it. I will be ash'ad. I will be someone else."
--From the journal of Mirli Lok, leader of the Ash'ad

"No good rebellion follows the rules." - Veek the Sneak to Gritha Dar
Founded by Veek the Sneak, Harido Wald started as a small smuggling ring with an extremely limited network of contacts. Operating mostly in oppressive Hutt territories meant Harido Wald barely eked out a profit; the group only survived thanks to Veek's genial method of making deals and the loyalty of Harido Wald's members. That loyalty was put to the test after Veek promised Gritha Dar, the leader of a slave rebellion against the Hutt rulers of Mek-Sha, the services of his organization.
With the Hutts gone and Gritha Dar (now known as Huttbreaker) ruling Mek-Sha, Veek saw a prime opportunity to put Harido Wald on the map. Mek-Sha's denizens were clamoring for goods they had been denied for years, so Veek relocated his base of operations to the newly liberated station.

Led by Akoru--who claims direct descent from the ancient Beast Riders of Onderon--the Untamed continue the tradition of occupying the planet's dangerous jungles, relying on their ability to tame the notoriously vicious creatures that inhabit them. This skill is passed down from generation to generation, along with fierce combat abilities and stories of how their ancestors were exiled to the wilderness when an outsider--the Sith Lord Freedon Nadd--conquered most of Onderon's population.
Unlike their predecessors, the Untamed adhere to strict isolationist beliefs, including a brutal disgust for offworlders and anyone who associates with them. A ritualistic people, the Untamed will at least entertain those who respect their ceremonies or can best them in combat--for a short time.
-
Onderon has seen its fair share of violence and unrest, so much that one of the planet's most culturally important locations was built in reverence to battle. The ancient proving grounds were originally built by Naddist cultists as a place for Sith Lords to compete--often to the death--for the favor of Freedon Nadd.
The proving grounds stayed under Sith control until Onderon's Beast Riders seized the surrounding territory. Undeterred by the traces of dark side energy that remained, the outcasts used the proving grounds as the site of trials a Beast Rider faced before earning the title of Beast-Lord.
Due to Beast-Lord Akoru's neglect in recent years, the proving grounds have been overrun by members of Onderon's noble families and their guards, and the once hallowed spot now serves as a royal retreat. Many nobles return with stories of how they embodied their ancestors' bravery and valor during their visits to the proving grounds, but because of the area's seclusion, few claims can be truly corroborated.

When the Hutts took control of Makeb, a low-ranking Cartel member named Loddu was tasked with rooting out potential competitors to Makeb's isotope-5 mining operations. During his search, he discovered a small team of geologists who claimed to have located mineral-rich deposits on an asteroid. Loddu, unsatisfied with his meager share of Makeb's profits, sent a team of mercenaries to capture the geologists and claim the asteroid.
Within months, Loddu used what little leverage he had to transport slaves and bodyguards to the asteroid, and before long, it was a bustling mining station. Despite the overabundance of resources the imprisoned geologists had promised, production on the station was slow. Against the advice of his advisors, Loddu demanded that miners use explosives to clear areas of the asteroid faster. The hasty, substandard demolition destroyed a large portion of the rock and resulted in the demise of many laborers and mercenaries--and the impatient Hutt himself.
Loddu's sibling, Prava, unwillingly took ownership of the station and its slaves, who were seething over Loddu's carelessness. But when Prava arrived to survey the asteroid's damage, he discovered that he had also inherited an untold amount of wealth: the explosion had unearthed the valuable minerals Loddu had been seeking.
-
Prava's grasp on the station was tentative--the hollowed-out asteroid required more upkeep than a typical mining station, and despite its profits, few in the Cartel believed the small operation was a worthy venture. Without sufficient outside investment, even the most basic infrastructure was difficult for the Hutt to maintain.
During the Hutt Cartel's crisis on Makeb, Prava's attentions were more divided than usual, and a Nikto slave named Gritha Dar used the Hutt's distraction to her advantage. Captivating and eloquent, Dar persuaded smugglers, gun runners, ex-Mandalorian warriors, and even slave traders that doing business with her instead of a weak and incompetent Hutt would be far more lucrative.
Once she secured her network of resources, Dar rallied her fellow slaves against Prava and his mercenaries, who were blindsided by the overwhelming forces the slaves had acquired. Dar was a ferocious leader, and Prava was outmatched from the start; the revolution was over almost as quickly as it began.
When the dust settled, no one questioned that Dar should lead the survivors through whatever came next. Dar immediately accepted her new role, formed a council out of prominent figures who supported her rebellion, and renamed the station "Mek-Sha," in honor of a friend she claims inspired her revolution.

Navolii had a very interesting piece of business during our last tribunal meeting. She insisted we let that Hutt bring his little shindig to Rishi, even though she’s been against it up ‘til now.
I knew something smelled fishy. I cornered her after the meeting, and she told me what you did to her. That’s a strange way to go about spreading “charity,” friend.
You may have got a scuzzball like Jek-Burz wrapped around your finger, but I don’t appreciate you threatening my friends. I’ll be keeping an eye on this “Feast” of yours--you can count on that.

Greetings to you, esteemed donor,
You are receiving this message because of your recent contribution to the Mek-Sha Home for Lost Children. With the generosity of donors like you, we can provide comfort and enrichment to the many children in our care. Just look at the joy your selflessness has inspired:
“Doctor Eddi gave me a toy starship vrrrooom I never got nothing like this before thank you!”
--Astahl
“I gots a jurnal so I can right stuf now thank you very mutch”
--Shuza
“A BLANKET THANKS!!!!”
--Yunnusk
As you can see, your thoughtfulness has truly impacted the lives--and the futures--of these children. Please consider making your donation a recurring one, and you can continue to make a difference for these orphans.
-
I thought I was busy before, but ever since I took charge of the Feast, I can’t seem to find a spare minute for myself. But, I made sure to set aside some time to send you an update--and my thanks.
We lost a few of our wealthier donors once I put a stop to their “mutually-beneficial” relationships with Gaboorga, but I say we’re better off without them! Now that we’re focusing solely on helping the people who really need it, we’ve seen a huge spike in small donations, and so many people are volunteering their services, I can’t keep up.
It’s all thanks to you, my friend! Believe me when I say that I couldn’t have done any of this without your help. Please accept my sincerest gratitude for making everything I’ve worked so hard for a reality.
-
Congratulations, you’ve single-handedly turned the Feast of Prosperity into a celebration of giving credits to Gaboorga the Abundant.
I thought he was bad before, but ever since he took over the Feast, we’ve barely had any volunteers. The Feast only goes where Gaboorga’s friends want it to. Everyone we’re feeding is plenty well-fed already.
There’s nothing for me to even do anymore. Gaboorga holds his lavish banquets and the credits come rolling in, but I’m never asked to send them rolling back out again. You and I both know where those credits are going, and it’s not to people who need them the most.
I don’t know. Maybe I was naive to ever think Hutts could put something together that could really help people. I hope you got something good out of all this, at least.
-
Because of the little trick you pulled with Duuba, I’ve lost a slew of my wealthiest donors and political connections. I can’t maintain the lifestyle I’m accustomed to on the meager salary the charity provides me. I can’t even afford a full day’s worth of food! Not unless I ask for some of the cheap scraps that Duuba and the culinary deadbeat he calls a chef are giving away at the Feast.
The Feast of Prosperity was meant to be an occasion to SHARE my PROSPERITY with the poor wretches of the galaxy. But now I have nothing! Think of all who will go without, now that I am next to destitute!
I hope you’re happy!
-
Under my expert guidance, the Feast of Prosperity is truly a sight to behold! How I wish you could see it all--the glamor, the allure… and that was just the hat I wore to the most recent donors’ gala!
Chef Popotis continues to outdo himself with each lavish banquet. I would send you an invitation, but I am sure your schedule is full!
Oh, and I think we even managed to hand out a few free meals to some poor scamps last week. I’m not quite sure, it has been awhile since I’ve checked in with Duuba—I am so terribly busy, you see.
And speaking of, my assistant just informed me that Chef Popotis has a new dish for me to sample before I meet with some very important dignitaries. I shall have to bid you farewell!

The All Worlds Ultimate Swoop Rally
-
Conflict rages across the galaxy, and for many, entertainment and frivolity have taken a backseat. But a little thing like war won't be enough to stop the wildest swoop gangs from celebrating the biggest show on the circuit in over one hundred years.
Emerging from their usual underground stadiums, swoop riders and their most dedicated fans have descended on a multitude of planets for the All Worlds Ultimate Swoop Rally, an event intended to show citizens of the galaxy the virtues of swoop riding--like how to have the time of their lives!
Though resources are scarce, swoop crews are nothing if not resourceful. Explosives, blasters, and souped-up gadgets scavenged from decommissioned starships and downed shuttles are all utilized by swoop gangs to make their bikes the fastest and fiercest of them all. The Rally's challenge courses, vendor stalls, and spectator stands can be erected and deconstructed in the blink of an eye.
Anyone daring enough to test their swoop skills against these veteran riders has an open invitation to participate in the Rally, but only those who can make the crowd go wild will reap the rewards!
-
Congratulations! You've just taken your first steps toward joining the pantheon of the most famous (and infamous!) crews in the history of swoop bikes. You stand ready to take part in the galaxy's most esteemed and distinguished pastime--and you're gonna have a blast doing it!
Now, to understand swoop riding, you must understand where it originated from--and if you figure that out, can you let us know? We're pretty sure it started on Taris, but since it blew up (it was a whole thing) we don't know for sure.
Even if it didn't start there, Taris was still a pretty important part of the swoop world (did you know Revan won a big swoop event there?), and after it got destroyed, the circuit took a huge hit. Luckily, we still had other swoop tracks to compete on, like the ones on Tatooine, Nar Shaddaa, Onderon, and Manaan.
For centuries, swoop biking has been an awfully popular sport, and even the most inexperienced newbie (that's you!) is more than welcome to participate, so long as they got a bike! So, what kind of rider will you be? Are you a Hidden Bek, looking to use your potential fame and name recognition to help the little people? Or are you a Black Seraph, just itching to pick a fight and make some creds?
--From a copy of "So You Think You Can Swoop?", an informative brochure for new swoop bikers
-
The noise. The flash. For the swoop bikers who call themselves the Blatant Beks, there's nothing better than when something blows up on the track.
Founded by Bangcap, a seasoned swoop rider, and a mechanic named Old Morta, the Blatant Beks are often compared to the Tarisian gang that shares their namesake, the Hidden Beks--much to the annoyance of Bangcap, who seems to only prioritize figuring out how to make explosions bigger and louder.
Most of the Beks, if not all, share Bangcap's affinity for pyrotechnics, which are known in the swoop world as the gang's signature. Fans don't consider a rally a complete success unless they see the Blatant Beks destroy something beyond repair.
Anyone who rides for the Beks must adhere to this style, and they'll no doubt use that same philosophy to put on a blazing show for the spectators at the All Worlds Ultimate Swoop Rally. This Rally's sure to have no shortage of loud and fiery blasts!
-
One of the oldest crews in the swoop world, the riders of Horizon's Razor have been blazing past the competition for decades. Who founded Horizon's Razor is knowledge lost to time, as the Razors don't have leaders. Instead, they tend to follow whoever is the fastest rider in the current moment.
A lack of organized hierarchy has caused many dilemmas for the crew. Foolhardy behavior and disagreements that turn to infighting are commonplace. In their most recent predicament, the Razors pushed themselves into an interminable debt after placing many ill-advised and risky bets.
Despite the instability within the crew, Horizon's Razor has no shortage of faithful fans who are completely enamored by these riders and their daredevil speed. Many have even been known to help the Razors out of tricky situations.
Whispers are spreading that the Razors have come to the All Worlds Ultimate Swoop Rally not only to impress, but to climb their way out of the trouble they find themselves in. Could this Rally be the comeback Horizon's Razor has been waiting for?

Since you did so much to help my students, I thought you might be interested to hear about a curious development that followed our return to Corsucant.
When we settled in, we not only prepared to recover from our ordeal, but also to grieve for the two who did not return. However, while we mourned the loss of Trad, we discovered that Syl was, in fact, still alive.
I can’t claim to know the will of the Force; I only know that there must be a good reason for Syl to have been returned to us. And I don’t forget that we are all here and able to heal because of your help.
For Syl, for Trad, for all of my students, for myself… thank you. Truly.

Now that you’re back home, safe and sound, I need to tell you how lucky I am to have someone as amazing as you in my corner.
I know my relationship with Satele isn’t exactly what you would call “close,” but I couldn’t have lived with myself if anything had happened to her--and you worked so hard to keep her safe.
I’ve been trying to reach out to her more, since things have settled down. Every time we talk, she says how good you are for me and reminds me not to take what we have for granted.
And she’s right. You are the most incredible thing that’s ever happened to me, and you deserve to hear it as often as possible. So if I don’t tell you that at least once a day, feel free to smack me.
-
Just wanted to let you know how grateful I am for everything you did to help Satele.
I know my relationship with Satele isn’t exactly what you would call “close,” but I couldn’t have lived with myself if anything had happened to her on our watch.
I’ve been trying to reach out to her more, since things have settled down. She’s been saying how grateful she is to you for accepting me. The more I think about it, she’s right. So much of who I am today is because of what you’ve done for me.
I know I don’t say it enough, but I really am lucky to be a part of this Alliance. And I’ll keep doing whatever I can to support you. You can count on that.
-
First, I need to thank you. I don’t think I need to tell you how disastrous it would have been if we had failed to stop Valkorion from returning, in any form. That being said...
Forgive me, but I don’t know who else to turn to. I don’t want to burden Arcann with this; he still carries so much guilt, for so many things.
I thought saying what I did to Vaylin would bring closure, some peace... for her spirit, but for me as well… however selfish that may sound.
But I fear that all I’ve done is make things worse. I’m haunted by a feeling that my daughter will never truly rest. I hope that the notion is just guilt playing tricks on me--for Vaylin’s sake.
I’m rambling. My apologies for bothering you with a mother’s worries, but… thank you for listening, all the same.
-
We’ve been here before. My father, threatening the entire galaxy… me, feeling too powerless to stop him… and you, ridding us of Valkorion’s corruption and giving me the strength to be a better man.
But this time is different. This time, I am not suffocating on my own self-doubt, struggling with so much uncertainty about who I am, about what I’ve done… about my feelings for you.
There is still so much I have to atone for, but that uncertainty I felt before is long gone. This time, for the first time in my life, I have such hope for the future. For our future.
I love you. There has never been anything else I have been more sure of. And I will do everything I can to show you that, for the rest of my life.
-
I can’t recall if I ever told you this, but after you defeated him the first time, I could not shake the feeling that some part of Valkorion was waiting for us, somewhere out there. I always thought that perhaps I was being paranoid, that my fears were unfounded… I despise knowing that I was right.
But you knew how to handle him, again. It never ceases to amaze me how easily you defy my father. I wish I shared that particular skill.
Now that the last traces of Valkorion are gone, I feel… like I can finally breathe. You will forever have my gratitude for ridding the galaxy of my father’s presence.
Whatever we face after this, know that you only need to call upon me, and I will fight by your side. I owe you much, my friend.
-
I am going to admit something that is very difficult for me; something that only you could get me to confess.
For all of my unnaturally long life, my focus has always been singular. Protect Vitiate. Destroy Vitiate. Always laboring toward one goal, for one person.
But now, Vitiate is gone, and I find myself at the start of many uncertain paths. Where do they lead? Where do I direct the power of these emotions that I have not felt for centuries?
The obvious answer--is you. In this new life of mine, you are the one thing I would die to protect. You are the one thing that I would destroy for… you are the one thing I treasure. And knowing I have this one thing that is so… extraordinary… it makes this new life worthwhile.
-
I am going to do something that is very difficult for me, and I would not ask it from anyone but you.
I need your help. For all of my unnaturally long life, my focus has always been singular. Protect Vitiate. Destroy Vitiate. Always laboring toward one goal, for one person.
But now, Vitiate is gone, and I find myself at the start of many uncertain paths. Where do they lead? Toward which ambition do I direct my efforts now?
I am not entirely sure how to answer these questions, but all of my instincts tell me that it is you who can help me solve them. You have done so much already toward that end.
So, I will follow your path, wherever it may lead.
-
Now that we have finally put an end to the corruption of my former master, I wish to offer you my assistance. There are still many threats to the galaxy, enemies who would destroy you and your cause without a second thought, and both Kira and I have the experience and understanding to help you stop them.
Kira has her reservations, of course. She could not bring herself to lend her voice or name to this message. But she agrees with its sentiment. Her skills are yours should you need them, but only if you do not intend to use them to harm the people of the Republic. I do not fault her for making such demands.
Now, that said, we will be here, should you require our assistance. You need only to ask.
-
So, it’s been a hell of a ride, hasn’t it? I found you, I lost you, I found you again, we were almost trapped inside our old Grandmaster’s brain for eternity…
And honestly, I’ve loved every second of it. Maybe not the losing you part, but the rest… I loved it because it was with you. And I love you. But you know that. I hope.
I know there’s still a lot to do, just waiting for us around the corner, but as long as I’m with you, I’m ready for anything. Not just ready, excited! I mean, how could I not be? I get to spend the rest of my days on a crazy ride with the love of my life.
So, what’s next?
-
So, it’s been a hell of a ride, hasn’t it? You’re rebuilding the Jedi Order, we were almost trapped inside our old Grandmaster’s brain for eternity, Scourge FEELS things now…
And you know what? I wouldn’t trade any of it. Not for all the stars in the galaxy. I couldn’t have done any of this with anyone else, you know.
I know there’s still a lot to do, just waiting for us around the corner, and I’m gonna be around for all of it. Whatever you need, whenever you need it, for however long you need it, just ask.
So, what’s next?
-
Hey, so, I’m not naive. I know we just scored a really big win with destroying Tenebrae and saving Master Satele, but I also know that there are plenty of other bad guys out there that need fighting.
You’re obviously really good at this whole “stopping evil before it can destroy the whole galaxy” thing, and that’s kind of my thing, too. You’ve already got a lot of resources, but I don’t think it’ll hurt if Scourge and I stick around, in case you need us.
The big guy won’t admit it, but he wants to help too, just don’t expect him to be happy about going after any Imperials or anything. He’s pretty stubborn, so don’t think you can convince him.
Anyway, if any other crazy stuff out there starts rearing its ugly head, we’re here for you. Just say the word.
-
I was just thinking things were getting a little too quiet around here, when who shows up looking for Master Gnost-Dural? None other than the former Grandmaster herself.
Sounds like you’ve been pretty busy lately, maybe more than usual? I feel like you’ve always got a million and one things on your plate, but I hope you take the time you need for yourself, at least.
Arn reminds me all the time how important it is to do that. The guy still surprises me, even now. And he’s come so far, so fast… I really lucked out getting this one for my first student.
Anyway, don’t want to take up too much of your busy schedule. Just wanted to remind you that we’re still out here, rooting for you.
-

Working with Arn has been… overwhelming. It really doesn’t help that the guy seems constantly overwhelmed himself. But still, he’s making progress. He’ll get there eventually, I know it.
Anyway, don’t want to take up too much of your busy schedule. Just wanted to remind you that we’re still out here, rooting for you.

I’ve heard through the rumor mill about a certain someone’s recent encounter with the last vestiges of our former emperor. From the sound of things, I must personally thank you for crossing an item off my ever-growing list of things to do.
The Servants--or whatever was left of them--were relics of an era that many of us in the Empire do not wish to revisit anytime soon. The fact that so many of them were unaccounted for, doing whatever they wished without a sliver of oversight, was quite worrisome for the Dark Council. The Servants were a burden that I had hoped to relieve quite soon.
And you snuffed the last of the vermin out for good. Well done, my friend. Well done, indeed.

After a new regime seized control of the Sith Empire during the war with Zakuul, members of the order known as "The Emperor's Hand" refused to swear fealty to their new leaders.
Before the former emperor fell from power, the "Servants," as members of the Emperor's Hand referred to themselves, served him directly. Although the former emperor no longer ruled over the Sith, the Servants would not kneel for any other.
The Servants are steadfast in their belief that the former emperor will one day return and reign again in all his past glory. To see this come to pass, they continue to scheme in the shadows, away from the eyes of the Sith Empire, carrying out orders they believe are still being spoken from the former Sith Emperor himself.
-
Following a massacre decreed by Emperor Arcann, persecution ordered by Empress Vaylin, and the rampage of powerful god-like machines, the Scions of Zakuul dwindled beyond their ability to restore their numbers.
The few who remained clung to each other, waiting for the moment their former leader, Heskal, had prophesied--the utter destruction of the Scions of Zakuul. While they waited, they watched and investigated any sign that their former Emperor, Valkorion, was still living.
Their suspicions were confirmed when one of the last remaining Scions had a vision of Valkorion consumed by dark shadows that then spread across the galaxy. The Scions took action, locating the ship that contained the infected Satele Shan and her students and taking the vessel off-course, all while knowing that they might soon meet their demise.

Valkorion. Vitiate. The former Emperor of both the Sith Empire and the Eternal Empire has assumed multiple forms over the centuries, but when he was born to a poor farmer's wife and a powerful Sith Lord on the agricultural world of Medriaas, he was "Tenebrae."
Tenebrae's propensity for violence and power was evident from his childhood. When he learned of his true parentage, he murdered his stepfather, tortured his mother, and subjugated the people in his small farming village. By the time he was a teenager, Tenebrae had conquered the entirety of his homeworld after imprisoning his biological father.
After ruling his homeworld for over a century, Tenebrae's desire for immortality only grew. Following the Sith Empire's defeat by the Galactic Republic in the Great Hyperspace War, Tenebrae completed a ritual that wiped out all life on his homeworld, including the thousands of Sith who answered his call for assistance. It was the first vicious step Tenebrae took toward prolonging his life, but it would not be the last...

Once a prominent faction among the Mandalorians, Clan Cadera has all but faded from recent memory. Most only associate them with their role in the Crusader's schism, which began when Jicoln Cadera spoke out against the Mandalorians' alliance with the Sith Empire.
The clan was nearly decimated after Artus Lok, who soon after became Mandalore the Vindicated, crushed Cadera's rebellion. Those who survived were allowed to return to Mandalorian society, only to be looked upon with suspicion and doubt by many in the other clans.
Only Torian Cadera, Jicoln's son, managed to rise above the scrutiny of his peers by becoming chief of Clan Cadera and a close adviser to Mandalore the Avenger. No other member of Clan Cadera's last remnants has achieved any comparable degree of notoriety. Most are content to keep their heads down and fall in line.

"It is not so uncommon for our kind to find themselves imprisoned within the corrosive digestive system of a beast. It is only natural when you are fighting the fiercest creatures in the galaxy.
But you are mando'ade. Should you find yourself in such a circumstance, know that it is not the end of the battle for you--only a mere setback.
Your beskar'gam will protect you, so do not fear. Your besbe'trayc, whether it is blade or blaster, is sharper than the beast's edee. Use it. Cut your way out of the thing's belly, and show the creature that true verda do not make a good meal!"
--From a Mandalorian treatise on various combat techniques

Deriving more than its name from its predecessor, the current Mandalorian flagship--the Spirit of Vengeance II--mirrors the grand scale of the previous Mandalore's intimidating dreadnought, which was destroyed by Eternal Empire forces during the Zakuulan invasion.
After the war ended, many Mandalorians called upon the new Mandalore, Shae Vizla, to commission a flagship that rivaled the greatness of its predecessor. Vizla initially hesitated at the suggestion to build something so ostentatious, as she preferred more easily maneuverable ships to bulky and cumbersome dreadnoughts.
But, after considerable discussion with her advisers, Vizla saw the benefit of giving her warriors a tangible reminder of their indomitable past.

Commander, Hylo and I have recently stumbled upon a peculiar anomaly that we are hoping you could shed some light on.
It seems that whenever you personally take point on a mission, we overshoot the allocation in the Alliance’s budget for light spacecraft--by a considerable amount. Digging down into the specific line items shows where the credits are going, and it’s mostly shuttle repairs and replacement.
When you have some time, let’s review the fiscal ledgers together. There is most assuredly a solution to this problem, but I would like to hear your assessment first.

Hey there, it’s been awhile, hasn’t it? Just thought I’d shoot you a message, see how you are.
The other day, Tau got a status update from Onderon, which got us talking about the day she and I met. Do you remember? It was you who introduced us.
Then I started thinking about how much you’ve done for me since then, and I suddenly felt terrible for how little I check in on you. I know you’re so important that you probably didn’t even notice, but I feel bad all the same.
I’ve just been so busy lately! Master Gnost-Dural and Tau both think it’s almost time for me to take the trials to become a Knight. Which is a little terrifying, if I’m honest. But also tremendously exciting! After everything, Dakot Seven, Mek-Sha, Corellia… “Arn Peralun, Jedi Knight” still feels so surreal.
Anyway, no matter how hectic our lives get, I hope you know that Tau and I are always here to listen, if you need it. Until then, take care of yourself.

Hey there, it’s been awhile, hasn’t it? Tau was just telling me a story about the two of you, and it made me realize how long it’d been since we last spoke.
Do you remember helping Tau defend those farmers from the Imperial soldiers on Ossus? She says that seeing those Imps dead on the ground stopped her, right in her tracks. She says she realized she went too hard in the fight.
I think she was trying to teach me something with that story, but the problem is, I can’t relate. Those Imps were hardened soldiers, looking to kill innocent farmers. If it were me, I would’ve done much worse--without hesitating.
That seems to happen a lot. Tau says something should be done a certain way, and I just don’t understand her reasoning.
Regardless, Master Gnost-Dural and Tau both think I’m almost ready to be a Knight, officially. But do I have any hope of passing the trials if I can’t see eye-to-eye with my Master? Maybe I’ll get lucky, and the test will have a part about differing perspectives. I can hope, right?
Anyway, I’m sure you’ve got more pressing things to get to. Hope you’re staying safe out there.

I have received word from Lana about your request for the Force Enclave to watch for lingering traces of Valkorion. I wished to inform you directly that we would be happy to accommodate, and I will personally keep watch for any sign that the former Emperor could return.
I also wanted to personally commend you--and thank you--for your wise decision. After everything that has happened, I would have had difficulty ignoring the possibility that Valkorion could simply be biding his time. It is comforting to know that if my fears become reality, you will be standing ready as well.
I hope that, ultimately, our vigilance will be unnecessary, and Valkorion is, indeed, truly gone forever. But, if we discover anything out of the ordinary, you will be the first to know.
-
You have made your feelings concerning Valkorion quite clear, and while I would not question your judgement, I must share my concerns. Otherwise, I would do you, and the entire Alliance, a great disservice.
I will honor your request for the Force Enclave to not commit resources to searching for Valkorion’s presence. However, I do not believe that it is possible to simply turn our backs and forget about this threat.
It is true that many of us no longer feel his presence, but Valkorion is a shrewd opponent. If he is obscuring himself while he regains his strength, I do not want the Alliance to be unprepared.
I have decided to personally keep watch, whenever I am able, for any sign of his return. I promise that this will not interfere with any duties you deem to be higher priority. I hope that knowing this brings you peace of mind.
-
Greetings, and my apologies for not making the briefing earlier.
I’m sure Beniko and Visz have brought you up to speed, but with everything going on, the Alliance is busier than ever. Military Operations is no exception--our responsibilities have increased tenfold ever since Task Force Nova was created, and it doesn’t look like things are going to slow down anytime soon.
But just so you know, I’m doing everything I possibly can to keep things running smoothly. So far, so good, and unless something drastic happens, the workload increase shouldn’t cause too much of a disruption.
If that changes, I’ll let you know immediately. You won’t ever have to worry about anything in this operation falling through the cracks. Not while I’m in charge.
-
Greetings, and sincerest apologies for my absence in the recent briefing.
As you no doubt have been made aware, there’s been a notable increase in demand for the Alliance’s time and resources, and that includes Military Operations. A considerable percentage of our efforts are due, in no small part, to the creation of the Hand of the Empire.
But allow me to take this opportunity to reassure you: the logistical and procedural improvements I’ve implemented since joining the Alliance have proven to be worth their investment, many times over. I won’t disparage Bey’wan’s fantastic work during his time here, but it’s safe to say that were anyone else in control right now, our productivity situation would be far more dire.
I don’t anticipate anything happening that will impact our ability to perform at full capacity, but if there is any such occurrence, I will update you at once.

I had a surprising encounter after we came back from Dantooine. I left the meeting room and saw someone I never expected to see again.
Did you know that T7-O1 once belonged to my master? The last time I saw Teeseven, we were leaving Coruscant, after... after I hunted down Malgus the first time.
That little droid helped me through the hardest moment of my life; I am happy he's found a safe place where he can continue to help others. My master would have been so grateful to you for giving him a home. I am grateful.
Seeing Teeseven brought back so many memories, but it also made me think about the future--about my future, and what Master Zallow would have wanted for me. And I don't think he would have wanted me to give up on helping others.
I doubt the Jedi would welcome me back with open arms, but Master Satele has some thoughts on how I could support them. If it were anyone else asking, I would probably say "no." But she knows what it's like to lose a master, and what it's like to reexamine your identity as a Jedi. I think we understand each other more than I thought we did.
So, I'm sure you and I will see each other again. It will be nice to continue working together.
-Aryn Leneer
-
You and I got off on the wrong foot, and I'm not too proud to apologize for the part I played in that poor first impression. It's the least I can do, if we're going to continue on with anything close to a working relationship.
I never intended to invalidate anyone's efforts or make anyone feel excluded. If anyone was hurt by what I said in that meeting, then I sincerely apologize.
I will not, however, apologize for saying what I think is in the best interest of rebuilding the Jedi Order. When the Eternal Empire nearly decimated us all those years ago, they had help. Some of my friends--Jedi who I considered pillars of the order--were exposed by people they trusted. I think it goes without saying that I will be slow to trust those with whom I have no familiarity.
Task Force Nova has a long and difficult road ahead of us, and I will not allow anyone to make our work harder. If that means I have to ruffle a few feathers to keep a potential spy from ruining everything, then so be it. As long as you understand that, then we will get along just fine.
-Master Vinyor Tesh, Task Force Nova
-
I had not intended to rush off as soon as we set foot back on Odessen, but the demands of war tend to interrupt even the best laid plans. I’m sure Rivix was more than happy to lead the briefing without me.
I had hoped to speak further about Malgus and what the Empire should do once we locate him, but I suppose any detailed planning will have to wait.
Until then, I ask that you consider what I said on Dantooine. The Empire, all of us, failed Malgus. We restrained the mightiest Sith in the galaxy, suppressed his power; now we condemn him for breaking his chains. How can we reprimand Malgus for embodying the very tenets of the Sith Code? How could we possibly justify any punishment for this?
I know Malgus will come to his senses. For as long as I have fought beside him, his only desire has been to push the Sith to dominance, and I know that desire still burns furiously within him. Regardless of Malgus’s actions on Dantooine, whatever he’s done, whatever he’s planning, I am certain it is in all of our best interests.
-
Hey there, stranger.
I know you're really busy doing important leader things and all, but I wanted to let you in on a little scuttlebutt that's been going around the garrison last few days.
Some of my boys are saying Darth Malgus has shown his face again. Told them that Malgus can't show his face because that big horrid mask is stuck on it. Made them a little nervous to hear me say that, but I thought it might put a stop to the rumor mill before it got too out of control. Don't know if it actually worked, though.
Can't say if I believe what they were saying, but I knew if it were true, the powers-that-be wouldn't be too chuffed to have it spread around. I'll make sure the loudmouths thank me properly for saving their hides.
Anyway. Just thought you might appreciate the heads up. You let me know if there's anything else I can do to help. Oh, and tell Beniko that I tried that Kalsunor blend she recommended. She might be on to something.
-Major Anri, Raven Squad
-
Once again, please accept my sincerest apologies for failing to inform you about Darth Malgus’s theft on Ossus. I do hope that this minor transgression will not impede upon our partnership.
Additionally, allow me to express my gratitude for your assistance on Dantooine. Although the mission did not go quite as I expected, we still achieved much, thanks to your efforts. You are, as ever, an invaluable asset to the Hand of the Empire.
It won’t be long until we locate Darth Malgus, and when we do, you shall have every resource the Hand can offer at your disposal. Together, we will return Malgus to his rightful place within the Empire: on a leash.

Darth Xarion was quite pleased to learn that the agent he sent to support the Reclamation Service’s mission to Dantooine escaped unharmed.
Although the agent described her savior as an “obnoxious, sanctimonious wart-hornet,” the ever judicious Lord Xarion was able to put the pieces together. He has plans for Lord Ziliss and is grateful for her safe return.
Your continued service to the Empire is greatly appreciated.

"Location: Archaeological site 75-D, Abandoned Jedi Enclave on Dantooine
Purpose: Determine the usefulness of location for future Czerka Corporation endeavors
Notes: We were attacked almost immediately upon entering the ruins. The security team--must remember to thank Keldran for recommending them--made short work of the awful beasts, but the sheer ferocity of the creatures hindered my ability to conduct a fully comprehensive study.
Even from a cursory glance, however, it's clear that past restoration attempts have fundamentally altered the site's structure. Perhaps those who attempted to rebuild abandoned their efforts because they did not expect the sheer amount of work required to fully repair the damage... I cannot say for certain.
The lower levels are a lost cause altogether. It seems that we are not the first to send exploratory teams to investigate these ruins, and there is unmistakable evidence that subterranean seismic activity and unchecked scavenging have left the ruins in a state that would make complete restoration impossible.
Conclusion: No benefit--either monetary or martial--would be gained from occupying or restoring archaeological site 75-D at this time."

"Damn it, Krupo! I told you how precious my babies are to me, and you go and crash the ship with them in it! Jayse says I should be glad that everyone made it out alive, but if you don't round up my dumplings, you're gonna wish you never escaped that burning wreck!
Here's the list of who's missing--don't even think about showing your face in my presence unless you've got every last one of them with you. This miserable little grass ball is no place for my lovelies, they're probably terrified out there, all alone, without their papa... so you better hurry up and find them if you want to keep your head, you pathetic son of a murglak!

After the destruction of the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine--and the subsequent Sith occupation--the locals were relieved to see the Jedi abandon the site. The citizens of Dantooine believed that if the Jedi returned, so would the gaze of the ruthless Sith who sought to destroy them.
When the Sith occupation of Dantooine ended, the settlers who had escaped their wrath rebuilt by salvaging the rare and unique items within the Jedi Enclave ruins. Although they didn't understand the purpose of many of the items, they knew the hefty price they would fetch would help sustain Dantooine without Republic support.
The salvaging endeavors in the enclave continued for centuries, but the damage from heavy equipment eventually took its toll on the ruins' integrity, and the Dantooinian government cracked down on all unauthorized salvaging before phasing out official efforts altogether. Many continued the work in secret, however, rather than find a new occupation.
The fall of the Eternal Empire and the renewed war between the Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic spelled the end for scavenging in the enclave ruins, as most citizens sought to profit from the Republic's keen interest in Dantooine's agricultural potential.
-
After the battle of the Meridian Complex shipyard, the disappearance of Darth Malgus caused worry and confusion for both the Republic and the Sith Empire. Without any evidence as to what Malgus was doing, many on both sides braced themselves for the worst. It came as quite a shock for all when Darth Malgus resurfaced on the quiet pastoral world of Dantooine.
But beneath Dantooine's peaceful surface, many dark legends have originated from the ruins of a former Jedi Enclave. Tales of the psychological manipulation that took place there are uncommon knowledge for most of the galaxy--but a Dark Lord of the Sith, who possesses a vast knowledge of ways to apply the Force, would undoubtedly find many useful tools among the enclave ruins.
Whatever Malgus discovered in the depths of the Dantooine enclave, it's clear that he is no longer beholden to the whims of his Imperial masters. Without a leash to restrain him, Malgus's plans are even more of a mystery. Whether he's using his newfound independence to continue to pursue the objectives of the Empire--or to serve his own purpose--remains to be seen.

Orphaned on the planet Balmorra, Aryn Leneer was discovered by Master Ven Zallow, the man who would train her in the ways of the Jedi. The two formed a close bond during their time together, and Aryn began to see Master Zallow as less of a teacher and more of a father.
The two Jedi fought valiantly in the Great Galactic War against the Sith Empire, and when Master Zallow fell to their enemies, Aryn vocally opposed the Republic's attempts to peacefully end the Sith occupation of Coruscant.
After her arguments were ignored, Aryn focused only on avenging Master Zallow. Against orders, Aryn fled her station on Alderaan, and with the help of her old friend and associate, Zeerid Korr, she breached the Sith blockade on Coruscant and tracked down Master Zallow's killer--Darth Malgus.
Aryn and the cruel Sith Lord fought fiercely against each other--with Aryn nearly killing Malgus's slave and lover--but their duel ended in a draw and a promise to kill one another should they ever meet again.
Aryn's actions resulted in her resignation from the Jedi Order.
-
Vinyor Tesh, the son of researchers based in the Manaan capital of Ahto City, was only a few years old when the Sith Empire attacked Manaan and destroyed all of its surface developments. Vinyor's parents were killed during the assault, and the young Nautolan barely escaped with the help of a visiting Jedi named Laotah.
Laotah brought young Vinyor to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, where he was given the opportunity to work in the archives. After a few years on Coruscant, Vinyor showed signs that he was Force adept. Vinyor asked that he be allowed to continue working in the archives during his Jedi training, as cataloging records and research tasks helped him feel a connection to his parents.
After Vinyor was displaced for a second time following the Sith Empire's attack on Coruscant, Vinyor focused on recovering and preserving lost records from places that had been destroyed by the Sith. As he attained the ranks of Jedi Knight and Jedi Master, Vinyor's desire to safeguard the valuable information in the Jedi's possession only grew.
Master Vinyor never forgot the stabilizing influence the Jedi provided during the chaos of his childhood, and joining Task Force Nova only emboldened his desire to maintain that stability by enforcing the Jedi's traditional rules and protocols. Any who challenge Master Vinyor's devotion to order and security within the Jedi--or try to change the Jedi into something new--are met with Vinyor's derision.

As shrewd as she is capable, Master Sal-Deron is an expert in reconnaissance and intelligence skills not typically possessed by members of the Jedi Order.
When Sal-Deron first began to assist with missions for the Republic's Strategic Information Service, some of the agents objected, as they were hesitant to trust an asset who might use conspicuous Force powers to complete such sensitive tasks. But before long, Sal-Deron had proved several times over that she didn't need to rely on the Force to extract information or infiltrate the enemy, and the detractors began to respect--if not outright admire--her expertise.
Master Sal-Deron became such an integral member of the SIS team that when the Eternal Empire invaded Republic space, several SIS agents helped Sal-Deron go to ground. During her time in hiding, Sal-Deron continued to work, using her contacts to track down and keep tabs on other Jedi who had gone underground. Her efforts in locating Jedi in exile throughout the galaxy form the foundation for Task Force Nova's objectives.

Darth Krovos's capacity for tactics and leadership was apparent even as a young acolyte on Korriban. As she prepared to complete her final trials, Krovos thoroughly studied the tomb where her task would take place, formulated a strategy, and convinced the other acolytes in her training group to take part. Everyone emerged from the tomb victorious, much to the chagrin of their Overseer.
Krovos vehemently defended her actions by claiming the Sith could never rule the galaxy if they needlessly slaughtered each other, but her argument was soundly ignored. In the end, her life was saved by the acolytes whom Krovos had convinced to work together--they threatened to kill the Overseer themselves if he harmed her.
Word of Krovos's triumph spread quickly, and her command of such loyalty, as well as her cunning mind, caught the attention of Darth Decimus, the head of the Sphere of Military Strategy. Decimus took Krovos as an apprentice, and under his tutelage, she quickly rose through the ranks.
Krovos's military career was highlighted by many victories, and before long, she was fighting on the front lines next to the likes of Darth Marr and Darth Malgus. However, despite Krovos's acclaim, she still strove to recognize the talent of others, as shown by her respect and admiration for her non-Sith colleague, Admiral Zasha Ranken.

Little is known for certain about Darth Rivix's origins, or any part of his personal history before he joined the Imperial Diplomatic Service, and all inquiries into the matter seem to be met with dead ends. Even those who have directly asked Rivix to confirm details about his past have come away with more questions than answers. The perception of his interests and opinions seem to shift depending on who is speaking about him.
Those who worked with Rivix in the Diplomatic Service remember him as dedicated, charming, and as someone whose performance consistently stood out. Naturally, it came as no surprise to anyone when he was selected to lead the newly-formed Hand of the Empire.
Although other powerful Sith had competed for the position, naming Rivix as the Hand's liaison to the Alliance pleased many among the Empire's ranks, as Rivix's organizational and networking skills are considered second-to-none--despite his notorious secrecy.

Below is the message from Corellian Sector Command that I mentioned during our meeting. The information provided should prove useful for planning similar operations in the future. If there is anything more you wish to discuss, please let me know how I can be of further service.
Commodore Tessa Pardax, Alliance Military Operations
Greetings Commodore,
I’d like to reiterate how grateful we are for your help in this matter. Without your intel, the opportunity to deal such a significant blow to the Republic would have passed us by. As requested, here is the data collected from the reports of those who were present:
--Turbolasers destroyed: forty-six percent
--Enemy combatant casualties: unknown; Republic vessels fled Balmorran system before full account could be completed
--Friendly asset casualties: minimal
Conclusion: Thanks to early intelligence from our partners on Odessen, our forces disrupted a shipment of Republic weapons before it reached its destination on Corellia. Utilizing more covert methods in future attacks could produce improved results.
Regards,
Major Kann Holbok, Balmorran Sector Command
-
Forwarding you the report I received from Admiral Kucho on Corellia. What we learn from this could have a huge effect on how we plan these kinds of operations going forward. Let me know if you want a more detailed update, and I’ll make time to go over the finer points.
Bey’wan Aygo, Admiral
Admiral Aygo,
Thank you again for the heads up regarding the Empire’s interest in our turbolasers. Your help was crucial in saving our mission from complete and total disaster. For your review, I’ve recorded the following:
The fleet tasked with escorting the weapons shipment ensured that forty-six percent of the turbolasers reached Corellia. After multiple debriefs from those present during the assault by Imperial forces, the consensus was reached that the full number of ships needed for the escort were not available, due to a lack of definitive information about the number of Imperial forces.
Until next time,
Admiral Dree Kucho
-
Leaking fake plans about those turbolasers was a nice trick. But you’ll have to try a little harder next time.
Thank you, by the way, for the little peek into how you operate. Should come in handy if you get the urge to come after me again.
I lost good people during that run, and the ones we took from you weren’t enough to make up for it. You better hope the Empire finds me, before I find you…
-
Me again.
Wanted to thank you one more time for the intel on those turbolasers. We couldn’t have done our part if you hadn’t reached out to us to begin with.
I gave this whole arrangement a little more thought, and I want you to know that just because I can’t work for you, doesn’t mean I won’t work with you.
You get any other information that could make things harder for the Imps, I’m listening. And if I run into a situation that needs more firepower than I’ve got, you could be hearing from me.
Sound good?
Zenith
-
Hello. You do not know me, but my name is Eko. It is very nice to make your acquaintance. I am sorry to send this out of the blue, but I am sure you are a very busy person, and this seemed the best way to contact you.
Now that Zenith is staying with you, he has asked me to take over his responsibilities as the leader of our small organization. It will be a difficult task, living up to his reputation, but he has taught me well. Zenith has done so much, for all of us… the loss of his presence will be felt deeply. But, Zenith believes that we will be fine while he is absent, and that is encouraging.
In the meantime, it is my sincerest wish that you keep him from harm and treat him like the valuable friend that he is. I assume you are well aware of this, given your history, but Zenith often needs to be reminded to take care of himself as well as he takes care of others. From all that he has told us about you, I am sure you will be more than capable of doing that.
Thank you, and I hope to one day make your acquaintance in person.

Greetings,
At the request of Darth Rivix (who sends his regards), I have forwarded what little details my team could procure about "Darth Nul's" relic to your associates.
If I may speak plainly, I had hoped to emphasize the peculiarity of this matter. In my time with the Reclamation Service, I've investigated the history of many Sith Lords, and none were ever so shrouded in mystery. There is always at least one clue that unquestionably leads to another, but as you can see from the report I've provided, that is not the case when it comes to learning more about "Darth Nul."
Since this search has proven rather fruitless, your assistance will be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Colonel Barden Golah, Imperial Reclamation Service
-
It isn’t much, but I’ve sent along what little information we could find about “Darth Nul’s” relic.
The Empire has never been known for being transparent, but most Sith leave behind a record, a clue, something that confirms their existence. The fact that Malgus is so interested in a Dark Lord who seems to have vanished without a trace is… curious.
Master Vinyor is already back in the archives, looking for any other documents that could potentially refer to Darth Nul. With luck, and your help, we will know more soon.
Arn and Tau send their best.
-
Sana-Rae insisted that I leave for my mission immediately, but I wanted to personally make sure you were informed.
I knew when I joined the Alliance that there would always be those who sought to destroy it, but the lengths that some of your enemies will go to is nothing short of astounding.
I am glad to do my part and protect what you've built. However, visiting a place so near my homeworld feels strange, after so much has changed since I last set foot on Zakuul. I even thought about making a detour there, but I feel uneasy doing so without you or Senya there. Instead I will focus on finishing my task quickly and returning with news as soon as possible.
-
Sana-Rae insisted that I leave at once, so by the time you read this, I will have left for my assignment.
I knew when I joined the Alliance that there would always be those who sought to destroy it. That is why I promised to meet any threat to you, or what you’ve built, head on. It is my duty--but I hate leaving you, even if it keeps you safe.
The only thing that makes this bearable is the anticipation of seeing your smile when I return. That is what I will remember until I am by your side again. Until then, I hope you think of me too, and how much I care for you.
-
I have formed a team of volunteers from the Force Enclave. Two former Jedi and two former Sith. All are willing and eager to learn more about the mysteries presented by the Darth Nul’s relic.
I have provided the team with detailed instructions. They have all the information that was sent to us about the relic. I will notify you as soon as they return.
May the Force guide them.

Things are too quiet around here without you. Could be because you gave the Pubs such a good smacking they won't even think about trying us again, but truly... it feels like it's something more than that.
Don't get me wrong, I'm working with some good people around here. People I admire. But it's not the same as working with you. So far, it's been nothing but running errands and catching up on briefings. I'd give my left lekku to be out in the field with you.
Never understood those romantic types who compare fighting to something like dancing, but with you... let's just say I know art when I see it. Makes me wonder what else you can do with that kind of finesse. Here's hoping we don't have to wait too long to find out.
Anri
-
Things have been quiet around here since you left. Could be because you gave the Pubs such a good smacking they won't even think about trying us again, but I suspect excitement just follows you wherever you go.
It really was good to have your help. You righted the ship for us, yeah, but it was a fun change of pace. Now that you're gone, it's back to the usual guard duty and status reports that come with this kind of posting.
I'm not saying I'm hoping for another catastrophe or anything. Just don't be too much of a stranger, else I'll die of boredom.

Greetings,
Though I did not request your presence on Manaan, it would reflect poorly on myself if I did not formally express my gratitude for your assistance.
For the most part, our operation has returned to pre-Republic-interference efficiency. Aside from a few unexpected, but necessary, repairs, I dare say our kolto output is even higher than before the Republic tried to stop our efforts.
That being said, I must return to my duties at once. This war is far from over, and productivity here is not yet at full capacity.
Regards,
Colonel Seeral Korrd -
Valued servant of the Empire:
Darth Norok, commander of the Empire's logistical forces, wishes to convey his appreciation for your service on Manaan. Because of the sensibility you demonstrated, we are much closer to the Empire's total dominance over the planet's kolto reserves.
Please consider this official correspondence as recognition of your assistance. We hope you take pride in your contribution to Darth Norok's victories.
Glory to the Empire,
Lieutenant Esmin Darr -
Well. I'm quite certain you're aware of the kind of mess you helped us avoid on Manaan, but allow me to express my gratitude all the same.
I place a great deal of trust in my soldiers. It is something that many of my fellow Sith believe is a flaw in my character. To see them proven right by Colonel Korrd's actions is nothing short of humiliating.
Perhaps I need to remind those in my command that their duties do not include usurping control from Sith--even if it's one as insufferable as Darth Norok.
-
Looks like I couldn't keep up my end of that deal I made with Malgus. I was right there, face to face with him, and... nothing. The seething hatred I was sure I'd feel never came, neither did the desire to kill him. Maybe hanging around Satele has had an effect on me.
Now that he's locked up, I'm torn. I can't shake this persistent thought that I need to see him, to scream and rage and demand answers for everything he's done. But I'm not sure what it would solve. On the other hand, walking away and forgetting about all of it doesn't seem like something I can do either.
I'll figure it out, at some point. But if I do land on the side of confronting him, I might need you there.
-Aryn Leneer
-
So the old man wants to send more people to Elom? I can't be the only one who thinks this is a terrible idea, right?
All those people we lost in the ruins? They weren't battle-hardened soldiers. They were engineers, archaeologists... they were friends. And we put them in the crossfire. I just... I don't know how to deal with losing so many people who weren't trying to hurt anyone. They were just trying to learn, trying to help.
Maybe the old man will let me go with the next recovery team. At least then, if something happens, I won't feel so powerless.
Tau
-
Well, that was quite the surprise, wasn't it? While you were handling things for us on Manaan, I had a number of promising leads on Malgus's possible location. Elom was not one of them.
The fact that Malgus was so close to gaining what he wanted is concerning, but there's at least some good news. His presence confirmed that we've been on the right track.
I've spoken with Master Vinyor and Master Gnost-Dural. We are all in agreement that there's more to learn on Elom about Malgus's plans, more than we could learn by speaking to the man himself. We are assembling a recovery team as we speak, and once they're settled in, we would appreciate any assistance you can spare.
Respectfully,
Master Sal-Deron -
Please pardon the unsolicited communication, but I wish to formally introduce myself, as well as make a request.
As Lord Krovos stated previously, I am Darth Eldrid. I have a talent for creation, specifically for tools that draw on the dark side of the Force. However, even the most accomplished inventors will tell you that such works can--and should--always be improved upon. The prison I have built for Malgus is no different.
Should you have any input or suggestions, please do not hesitate to share them. Lord Krovos's time is hard to come by, and Lord Rivix is not the most reliable source when you need the unvarnished truth. Other than these two, I value your opinion most. I look forward to hearing it.
With gratitude,
Darth Eldrid -
Well done, my friend. Well done, indeed. I suspected that you would be the one to return my little toy soldier, and you did not disappoint. It was positively splendid that I could be present when the disobedient cur was put back on his leash.
Malgus was away from my influence for far too long, but that will soon be remedied. This can not, and will not, happen again.
-
You have done well. Your tireless efforts in tracking down Malgus have been most impressive, and the victory you secured on Elom was spectacular. I am nothing short of delighted that Malgus's capture took place in my presence.
You have my sincerest gratitude for the part you have played in returning my insubordinate asset. Now that it's done, he will learn the consequences of defying my control.
-
I must say, after our previous adventure together, the last person I expected to find in those ruins was Malgus himself. How very fortunate for us that we did.
Unfortunately for us, we are still no closer to knowing for certain what Malgus was actually planning. Interrogations are underway, but I have little hope that they will yield the sort of answers we require.
At the very least, with Malgus where he belongs, we no longer have to worry about him surprising us at every turn. Now seems the perfect time to send another team to investigate the ruins on Elom. Wish us luck.

Within the Sphere of Civil Administration, a high-ranking Sith possessing a ship as large as a dreadnought is almost unheard of. Most Sith tasked with handling logistical matters prefer traveling on smaller, more extravagant ships, while transporting provisions, arms, and troops is left to their subordinates.
The tyrannically-strict Darth Norok, however, prefers to personally oversee the movement of all supplies at his disposal. Norok’s warship, the Executioner, is outfitted to quickly and comfortably move several regiments worth of Imperial forces between star systems. Additionally, the dreadnought’s hangars are spacious enough to hold dropships--soldiers can deploy directly from the Executioner to their objective, without any interference from an orbital station. Cargo bays are filled to the ceiling with food, weapons, tools, and whatever else an army might need.
Although the Executioner is meant to serve an administrative purpose, the warship is armed with deadly defenses and weapon systems, ensuring that everything inside remains firmly under Darth Norok’s control. Raiders, enemy saboteurs, and even rival Sith have all met their demise during attempts to seize command of the Executioner.

Developed by Colonel Seeral Korrd and various engineers under his command, the Empire's Nautical Mining System is a network of platforms that can be deployed with minimal to no casualties or resistance.
Despite the lack of natural cover, defenses, or roads on worlds entirely covered by oceans, the platforms can be dropped from orbit, constructed, moved, and withdrawn faster than mining stations established on terrestrial planets.
The floating platforms serve as stations in the mining system's network, and each can be adapted to handle different crucial steps in the kolto mining process, including harvesting, refining, and shipping. Unique shielding technology is used below the surface to drain sections of the ocean floor, providing easy access to underwater deposits of kolto, while the surface levels are equipped with state-of-the-art defenses that prevent raiders--or unhappy locals--from interfering with moving the kolto offworld.
Although Manaan is the first planet to have its resources harvested through the Nautical Mining System, its success could mean a wider application of Colonel Korrd's invention on aquatic worlds across the galaxy.

Born shortly before the Battle of Korriban and the dawn of the Great Galactic War, Seeral Korrd seemed destined for a life of military achievement. Admittance to the most prestigious Imperial military academies and access to elite training was all but guaranteed, as both of Korrd’s parents were high-ranking and well-respected officers in the Imperial Navy and came from wealthy, prominent families.
Although Korrd was not present, the Battle of Hoth was a turning point in his career. His older brother, Harkas, was killed during the conflict, and the thought of his brother suffering over the icy, desolate world--far from any resources or assets that might have saved him--was devastating to Korrd. He immediately requested a transfer out of his specialized combat program and asked to be sent somewhere he could learn about coordinating and directing supplies. Due to his age and his family’s reputation, Korrd was sent to a quiet Imperial outpost on Dromund Kaas.
At the reconquest of Ord Radama, Korrd saw firsthand the cost of running an extensive, aggressive campaign with limited provisions and vowed to find ways to keep soldiers from fighting in such conditions. This dedication has earned him no shortage of recognition throughout the Imperial Army, but Korrd’s pretension, stubbornness, and tendency to expect too much keeps his colleagues and subordinates at more than a professional distance.

“Enough, Navu. I did not wish to join you on Korriban the first ten times you begged me to do so, and what little interest I originally possessed quickly diminishes each time I receive one of your spineless attempts at persuasion.
While you toil away, training up little brats who will never be fit to even clean my quarters, I will rise to greatness. My skill with a lightsaber has earned me honor and notoriety--I relish spilling the blood of my enemies... but this will not secure me a seat on the Dark Council.
Wars cannot be won without provisions. Even the mightiest of Sith fall if their armies cannot be fed. The flow of resources, the stream of credits… whoever controls these, directs the course of the Empire. My place in Civil Administration all but guarantees a future where the Empire’s will… is my will.
This is the last time I entertain your aggravating persistence. I have yet to silence you permanently because I understand the appeal of my prowess. However, ask this of me again, and I will give you a personal demonstration of why my expertise in brutality is so highly coveted.”

Selkath legend says that when a Binexan shark is beaten by an adversary, it retreats to Manaan’s murky depths, only to resurface as an even deadlier creature than before. The Binexan-class Destroyer, named for this fabled vicious predator, was designed to do something similar.
But instead of waiting to be overpowered before disappearing and re-emerging as a stronger opponent, this Republic military vessel attacks first, striking hard and fast, before diving below the surface and effectively shielding itself from enemy scanners and tracking systems. With the ability to move immensely powerful ordnance quickly and almost completely undetected, the Binexan-class Destroyer is a formidable weapon in a battle for control of an aquatic world.

“I was somewhere in the Sertar sector, on my way back to Centares. My ship’s inertial compensator started acting up, and I had to set her down. Ended up in the mountains on Elom. Place was colder than a wampa den. Scarier, too.
Got the compensator fixed, but as I was getting back on board, my blood went cold. And let me tell you, it wasn’t from the weather. Felt like someone, something, was watching me. Thought I was going space mad--that is, until I saw ‘em. All the spots on those critters’ fur kept ‘em nice and hidden, but once all those sharp horns and teeth and claws started moving at me… I knew I wasn’t imagining things.
Never seen critters hunt in a pack like that. Even had the young ones tagging along. There were too many of ‘em for just me and one blaster, so I took off quick. Shame I couldn’t bag one, though. Would’ve been a nice present for the boss.”

Located in the Sertar sector--an area of the Outer Rim Territories where little can be found beyond backwater planets and the occasional pirate band--Elom is a bleak and isolated world. Although some regions of the planet are utilized by local mining enterprises, most of Elom’s surface is an arid expanse of unexplored territory, frigid deserts, and treacherous mountains.
Perpetual drought drove one of Elom’s native species, the “Elom,” underground in search of more dependable water sources. While the Elom inhabited subterranean caves, the second species native to the planet, the “Elomin,” built surface settlements in almost complete ignorance of their neighbors’ existence.
Despite Elom’s quiet emptiness, some disciples of the dark side claim they can sense noteworthy archaeological finds waiting to be discovered there, due to Elom’s close proximity to other sites important to the Sith, including Korriban, Yavin 4, and Ziost. These theories are unsubstantiated, however--no one knows for certain what mysteries might be hidden deep within Elom’s desolate wilderness.
